Chuck guard for lathes with opaque screen.
Features:
Third generation safety guard for chucks "Made in EU".
Equipped with an opaque monolithic screen in composite material. 
The only one that can be positioned up to the machine head. 
Equipped with a microswitch n.2 NC contacts, is a positive contact as described in EN 60947-5-1.
Protects the operator from direct contact with the upper part of the chuck and from splashing lubricant or coolant.
Can be attached frontally and laterally to the base.

Attention: a chuck shield always requires adjustments to mount on your lathe. A safety guard must be installed by qualified personnel. The estimated working time is about 2 hours, provided there is an emergency stop circuit. If you have any questions or if you want to install the circuit, you can always contact our technical service. 
Tip: When choosing the size of the chuck guard, you should take into account the turning diameter above the bed, as well as the safety of the operator.
